Pot in Pot Recipe: Frittatas 2 ways in Instant Pot !

 FRITTATAS 2 WAYS RECIPE :

INGREDIENTS:

For frittata #1

2 eggs

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper powder

¼ cup cream

 

For filling:

Substitute ingredients below with veggies and meat of your choice!

¼ cup chopped onions

¼ cup chopped peppers

½ cup shredded cheese

 

For frittata #2

2 eggs

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper powder

¼ cup cream

 

For filling:

Substitute ingredients below with veggies of your choice !

 

¼ cup mushrooms chopped

¼ cup tomatoes chopped

¼ cup baby spinach chopped

¼ cup chopped onions chopped

½ cup shredded cheese

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Crack 4 eggs into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add salt pepper and heavy cream as mentioned in the ingredients list and mix well.
  3. Now add the ingredients under “For filling”
  4. Mix everything together.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 for the second frittata.
  6. Coat the ekovana pans with cooking spray (ex. EVOO spray).
  7. Transfer the mixtures to their respective ekovana pans close lid and lock the handles.
  8. Add 1 cup water to the pressure cooker main pot. Lower the stacked pans and close the pressure cooker.
  9. Cook on manual/ high for 6 mins and allow the pressure to release naturally.
  10. Once pressure released open the pans. The frittatas are ready.
  11. Optionally spread shredded cheese on top.
  12. Broil for 2-3 mins until cheese melts.
  13. Run a spatula around the sides and slice it up to serve.
